Our Mission

Oasis Center exists to make high-quality, compassionate addiction treatment accessible to every New Yorker who needs it. We are located at 316 5th Ave in Manhattan — a deliberate choice, putting us at the center of a city that has been hit hard by the fentanyl crisis and has long struggled with alcohol use disorder. We're here because New Yorkers deserve care that meets them where they are.

Our Philosophy

Addiction is a medical condition, not a moral failing. Our treatment approach reflects that. We use evidence-based therapies — cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, medication-assisted treatment, trauma-informed care — delivered by licensed clinicians who have chosen this specialty. We don't lecture, shame, or preach. We treat people.

We also believe that recovery is deeply personal. What works for one person may not work for another. Our treatment plans are tailored — not templated.

Our Approach to the Fentanyl Crisis

The NYC drug supply is not what it was five years ago. Fentanyl contamination, xylazine exposure, and polysubstance use are the new normal. Our clinical team is trained to manage the complexity this creates — including xylazine-involved detox, dual diagnosis with severe trauma histories, and medication-assisted treatment for high-tolerance fentanyl patients.
